Dr. Theriault and his staff provide quality dentistry for patients of all ages. We offer a wide range of dental services including preventive, cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry. We pride ourselves on our patient centered practice. We do everything possible to make dental visits pleasant for all patients. We have earned the loyalty of our patients, many of whom have been with us since 1951.
Dr. David A. Theriault
Dr. Theriault is from Salem, Massachusetts. He graduated from Maine
Maritime Academy in 1968 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After
six years in the engineering field Dr. Theriault attended Boston
University School of Graduate Dentistry graduating in 1980 followed by
one year general practice residency in the Department of Oral Surgery
at Boston City Hospital. Upon completion of his residency program,
Dr. Theriault joined the staff at Harvard Community Health Center in
Boston. During that time he taught operative and prosthetic dentistry
in the undergraduate clinic at Harvard School of Dental Medicine until
relocating to Maine in 1990.
Dr. Theriault attends numerous continuing education courses yearly.
He is a member of Donated Dental Services and participates in the Knox
County Dental Health Center.

Dr. and Mrs. Theriault have two grown children and one grandchild.
Dr. Theriault enjoys skiing, bicycling, sailing and hiking. He has
coached both youth basketball and little league baseball. He has been
an active member of the Rockland Rotary Club for the past 20 years and
served on its board of directors.
Nicki was born and raised in Mid-Coast Maine. She and her husband Mark are building their new home in Tenants Harbor. She has over 18 years experience in the dental field. The last 10 years she has spent working with Dr. Theriault as both an assistant and hygienist. Her past assisting experience, education and training in non-surgical peridontal treatment with the use of lasers at the LVI institute and ongoing continuing education give her the skills and knowledge to educate and communicate with her patients.
She is committed to informing her patients concerning their dental health needs. Helping them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment. She is a great listener and strives to deliver comfortable, personalized and quality care. She works with her patients to find the best solutions for individual to achieve their dental goals. She feels her patients are like a 2nd family and wants the best for them.
Dr. Theriault and Nicki enjoy volunteering for the Mid-Coast Dental clinic throughout the fall and winter every year. She also enjoys being with her family, fishing and boating off Port Clyde and loves animals.
